ADHD/Behavioral Evaluations

This evaluation is conducted to determine whether a child’s attention difficulties and/or problem behaviors can be attributed to an Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or if they are symptomatic of another problem, such as oppositional behavior or depression. 

These evaluations provide invaluable information for families for how to proceed with treatment, whether it be to try medication, behavioral interventions, psychotherapy, organizational tutoring strategies, or a combination of these interventions.   

Tests may include the administration of a standardized measure of cognitive ability, parent and teacher questionnaires, objective self report measures, tests of attention, and personality tests.
